Plant-derived SEKKISEI is rolling out SAVE the BLUE in Japan and globally in the spirit of giving back to the earth. Since 2009, starting by supporting coral cultivation activities in Okinawa, SEKKISEI has pursued diverse nature conservation activities to protect sea, forests, and snow.

This project is to protect coral for the future through SEKKISEI products. Coral is home to a quarter of all marine life and absorbs carbon dioxide, a cause of global warming.
For every purchase of an eligible SEKKISEI product during the campaign, we will fund coral conservation in Yomitan, Okinawa, in an area equivalent to the surface area of the bottom of that product’s container.

This environmental support project gives back to the earth through plant-derived SEKKISEI products.
SEKKISEI is currently involved in the SAVE the BLUE Project in 10 regions around the world.
JAPAN
A portion of the proceeds from applicable items purchased through each retailer, distributor EC, non-store EC retailer, and KOSÉ EC will be donated.
Purchase an applicable item during the campaign period, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to coral conservation activities.
CHINA
Part of this year's proceeds will be donated to the NPO Green Life to support tree-planting activities. Since last year, we have moved our tree-planting activities to Dunhuang, China.
TAIWAN
Some of the sales proceeds from applicable products are donated to the Eco-Angel Association to fund coral cultivation.
SOUTH KOREA
Part of the sales during the online campaign period from July to August will be used to create forests to clean the air.
SINGAPORE
Original SAVE the BLUE kits will be created, with 50% of the proceeds being donated to the Garden City Fund, a charitable tree-planting initiative.
THAILAND
We support the Marine and Coastal Resources Research and Development Center, a government agency in the eastern Gulf of Thailand, to help plant coral in Rayong Province, Thailand.
MALAYSIA
A portion of total sales will be donated to the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) annual initiative through Reef Check Malaysia, a local NGO.
INDONESIA
A giveaway campaign for SAVE the BLUE reusable tumblers promotes reduction of plastic waste from takeout drinks while increasing awareness and clean image of the KOSÉ brand.
THE UNITED STATES
For every SAVE the BLUE product sold on the SEKKISEI USA+Canada website, $1 will be donated to the KOSÉ Reef Alliance.
The final amount of coral to be planted may need to be adjusted in light of local conditions.
The number of shares for some regions may be calculated separately, depending on local site conditions.
